Journey To Alaska
Wednesday, July 8, 2009
We took the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway ride up 6000 feet to temperatures 30+ degrees cooler than the 108 degree valley.
Here's the cable we will travel along.
Going up . . .
and up . . .
and up.
-- with some incredible views along the way.
We arrive at the top to 360 degree vistas of the valleys and mountains.
Then we get to ride back down. The floor of the tram rotates so you have views all around.
We then stopped for a cold one at the Indio Elks. As usual, we met some terrific people.
