Denali National Park -- what a beautiful place!
Views of Mt. McKinley changes constantly as the clouds move across the sky. At times, only the top is visible, other times only the bottom and occasionally you can see the entire mountain. As we were driving south from Denali the next morning, it was completely clear. We took the 5:30 pm tour through the park, which returned at midnight. It was completely daylight the entire trip.

Look close, Mt. McKinley is peaking through the clouds.

This is a red fox along the roadside.

Park of the rocks recently broke away.

Momma Grizzly and her two cubs were dining on grasses on this hillside along the road.

It's unusual, but we really spotted this lynx just strolling down the side of the road and then wandering across in front of us.

We spent the night at the Grande Denali Lodged, perched on top the "hill" across from Denali National Park.

We got to meet the sleddogs. They still use them for transportation in the park as the roads are not maintained in winter. They love people and are pretty laid back, until they are led to the sleds. Then they start jumping up and down and barking, just like excited little kids. They love to run.
