It's a long drive to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, 200 miles to nowhere, but worth every mile. This is approaching the park.

We spent the night at the Grand Canyon North Rim Lodge located in the park. Got to catch the sun going down, but the pictures won't show the colors we saw.

We really could see Humphrey's Peak, 62 miles away, despite the haze (pollution).

This is Brighty, the first burrow of the Grand Canyon (early 1950's). This is as close to riding one as we get.

  2. Hi Guys,

The pictures of the Grand Canyon are just fabulous. What caught my eye though, was the sweatshirt from Hampton Beach! LOL! Home sick yet? Looks like you are having an amazing trip. Still jealous, but really enjoying your role as "tour guide". Miss you! Keep on truckin' :)

    Love, Laur
